PFC Care Ltd are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our Domiciliary Care team. Responsibilities:
Here at PFC Care Ltd our aim is to provide the best care possible which includes making the people we support feel at home and stay at home , providing them the care and attention they need in order to complete their day to day tasks. We involve family and loved ones throughout the PFC experience and you will be in direct contact with them too .
What your typical day will look like – A combination of the following daily living activities:
- Assisting Service Users with their Personal Care needs
- Medication Assistance and Monitoring the health of the service users
- Completing light household chores and light Cleaning duties
- Meal Preparation and Cooking Meals
- Providing Companionship and emotional Support
- Help our Service Users with Accessing local communities
- Assisting them with their weekly food shopping
- Accompanying on Days Out
- Escorts to Appointments or Activities
- Sitting in Service
- Live-In Service
Experience:
– Prior experience in Home care/ Domiciliary Care is preferred
– Ability and knowledge to safe Moving and Handling Skills
– Knowledge of Medication assistance and administration protocols
– Strong passion for providing Compassionate care and support
-Work Collaboratively with other Healthcare Professionals to ensure full Integrated Care
– An NVQ level 1-3 would be an added bonus
-A capable and safe Driver with a full UK Driver’s Licence
